PCA
Program Description
The Pharmacy Care Administration (PCA) graduate program of the Department of Clinical & Administrative Pharmacy is designed as an interdisciplinary program leading to the Ph.D. degree.
Faculty
The members of the PCA Program have collaborations with a number of faculty members across the UGA Campus and with other institutions and agencies, including: departments in the School of Medicine at MCG; Georgia State University; the State Departments of Community Health and Human Resources; Terry College of Business; Psychology; Public Health; and others.
Research Opportunities
The faculty members involved in the PCA Program have made significant accomplishments in their respective areas of interest. Their ongoing projects are supported in part by grants from the private and public funding agencies, the pharmaceutical industry, and various private foundations.

Graduate Students
Graduate students enrolled in the PCA Program come to us from a wide variety of academic, professional, ethnic and cultural backgrounds.
Curriculum
A full course load for a student who does not hold an assistantship or fellowship is considered to be from 9 to 15 semester hours. Course loads exceeding 17 semester hours require written approval of the major professor, the graduate coordinator and the Dean of the Graduate School.
