CET

Research Opportunities

One of the primary objectives in launching the CET Program was to encourage and facilitate research in the pharmaceutical sciences. The faculty members involved in the CET Program have made significant accomplishments in their respective areas of interest.

Fagan Lab

Their ongoing projects are supported in part by grants from the National Institutes of Health, American Heart Association, the American Diabetes Association, and several pharmaceutical companies.

The expertise of CET faculty includes

  1. Pathogenesis and treatment of stroke
  2. Pathogenesis and treatment of neurodegenerative disorders
  3. Pathogenesis and vascular biology of hypertension and diabetes-associated vascular complications

Students enrolled in the CET Program will have the opportunity to rotate through several of the laboratories. The laboratory rotations are an opportunity for students to explore different areas of research and help them ultimately choose an area of study on which to focus.

We encourage you to visit each faculty member's biosketch page for a brief overview of their current and ongoing research projects.
