How To Apply
Admissions to PhD Programs
Applicants holding an undergraduate degree.
Both the Pharmacy Care Administration (PCA) and Program in Clinical and Experimental Therapeutics (CET) are academically challenging programs leading to the Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) degree.
At a minimum, applicants should have a Bachelor's degree in pharmacy or other biological, biochemical, or physical sciences.
Students are admitted to these Programs by the graduate faculty on a competitive basis. In addition to past academic success, a strong emphasis is placed on the student's professional experience.
Applicants with a professional or graduate degree.
Professionals who already hold a Pharm.D. or Master's degree in a biologic science are strongly encouraged to apply. The CET program offers an expedited training program.
The academic record of the applicant will be evaluated by the graduate coordinator and CET graduate faculty members and an appropriate modification of course requirements will be made, potentially reducing the amount of time required to complete the CET Program.
Application process
Prospective students should complete the application process required by the Graduate School at the University of Georgia.
Please visit www.gradsch.uga.edu for forms and more information.
Prospective students should specify on their application that they wish to apply to the Program in Clinical and Experimental Therapeutics or Pharmacy Care Administration in the Department of Clinical and Administrative Pharmacy.
