Area of Expertise
My research program focus lies in patient reported outcomes (PROs). My research interest initiated with patient outcomes in pharmaceutical care utilizing survey research design. This has expanded to include behavioral decision making in addition to health related quality of life. My research program has focused on methodological issues surrounding various methods of patient preference measurement including psychometric and non-psychometric, or welfare based approaches, including utility assessment and contingent valuation, with an emphasis on policy decision making.
