Area of Expertise
Dr. Shepherd is a diplomate of the American Board of Applied Toxicology and has been involved with patient care and research relating to poisoning and drug overdose. Throughout his career he has also been involved with Emergency Medicine and Disaster Response. Recently, Dr. Shepherd has worked with the Medical College of Georgia to develop and distribute decontamination training programs for hospitals and health care workers.
